automation mmc manuals - téciman

Téciman performs a R&D project funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) of the European Union and the Junof Castile and Leon.  This is the development of an interface of automation for coordinate measuring machines (MMC) manuals.

What is FEDER?

The European Regional Development Fund fulfils the objective of promoting researchn, the technological development and the innovation in SMEs. And it is carried out through the Institute for Business Competitiveness of Castilla y León (ICE).

Automation of manual three-dimensional machines

We started this update project from Manual MMC to Automatic MMC, after detecting the great demand for automatic machines compared to manual ones. Offering a more economical and equally functional solution to purchase a new automatic machine.

The challenge of automation is to incorporate the technologies of an automatic three-dimensional in a manual, even if it was not designed for it, such as:

  • Automatic measurements through programming
  • Continuous probing for complex surface measurements
  • Comparison of measurements against the CAD of the part to be measured

At Téciman we are committed to the innovation and sustainability, avoiding the disposal of manual machines and increasing the degree of reuse of our clients' systems.
