delineation - rehabilitation - bridge - international - téciman

Téciman collaborates in the rehabilitation of the well-known international bridge that connects France and Spain, with a renowned construction company.

The client delegates in our engineering team delineation functions of the initial phase, to be able to focus on the work.

Characteristics of the «International Bridge»

It is a bridge from the 1860s with a structure, approximately 136 meters, that supports an electrified double track that serves the transport of passengers and goods.

The project focuses on rebuilding the foundations of two of the pylons that support the structure, in addition to covering one of the bridge's vaults.

Delineation of the bridge and reinforcement

Our engineers carry out the delineation of the bridge and the reinforcements before the works begin (streetlights, walkways, railings...).

During the previous phase they use AutoCAD and in the later REVITwith BIM methodology, for sending to the general map of the city. They also carry out the placement of the new elements.

Different actions are carried out to repair the factory parameters, in terms of durability and aesthetic appearance of the structure: deterioration of ashlars, vesiculation of shields, stains, washing of joints, cracks...
