Teciman it's a calibration laboratory of Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) accredited by ENAC.

It is recommended to calibrate the CMM every 12 months, as advised by the Metrology Working Group of the Spanish Association for Quality (AEC) in the document “CALIBRATION INTERVALS WHEN SHOULD A MEASURING INSTRUMENT BE CALIBRATED?”

This document states that las MMC are subject to periodic calibration, whose intervals should be annual with a tolerance of ±3 monthsThis time period balances the conflicting interests of ensuring metrological integrity and the costs of calibration operations. There is also the option of having the interval defined by the company itself.

The purpose of this publication is to provide guidelines on issues related to calibration intervals for measuring instruments and meters. It also lists recommended initial intervals applicable to the most commonly used measuring elements in industry.

In addition to calibration, our technicians can perform the service of Maintenance (preventive and corrective) and Geometric Fit to ensure the accuracy of your CMM.
