Téciman collaborates in a floating wind turbine project, a revolutionary technology for offshore wind, in Denmark with a leading infrastructure company.
The client needs to strengthen its design team and follow up on the needs that arise during the project.
Development of floating wind turbine – Offshore wind
The project focuses on the Development of a floating platform system and ballast tanks for offshore wind turbines. The prototype will be carried out in the North Sea, in Denmark.
Float Off
Our engineers carry out mass control or “float off” calculations with Solid Works, ensuring the buoyancy of the tank. This process involves a detailed balance of weights, adjusting the water content in the system to maintain the stability and safety of the platform.
Design of security elements
In addition, we also use Solid Works to design secondary elements of the platform, such as the tower access ladder, railings and other auxiliary safety components. These elements are crucial to ensure not only the functionality but also the operational safety of the system.
Offshore wind power in Spain
This project in Denmark is just the beginning. The client is pursuing the development of offshore wind energy in Spain, and at Téciman we are ready to accompany them on this exciting journey.
Our experience and capabilities position us as an ideal strategic partner to drive innovation and growth in the renewable energy sector.
